Joyce M.Weinberg's Story
I would say that most people would be surprised by my success in business. I was poor and did not have the benefit of nice clothing or materials things. I went to school, came home, and took care of my brothers and sisters. After graduating from CHHS, there was no college for a family of nine. Remember, Vicky, Ricky, Terry, Donnie, Larry, Kenny and ME. I worked at an auto title company as a personal assistant and then went to OSU to room with my best friend (and still is) Sandy Newman/Rosenfield. After one year, I flunked out due to partying and never having learned to study. Alan and I were married in l968 and will be celebrating our 40th anniversary this year (2008). many years, stemming from modeling and charm schools, I knew I had to rise above the makeup artists and color analysts and do something unique. So, I started an Image Research Company, wrote programs and got them all approved by accrediting bodies. This field was made for me as I'm a serving person and love to help people achieve their dreams.
My children are Justin (32) and Kristen (35) and of course, I think they are wonderful. No grandchildren yet. My daughter is waiting to be come partner of a law firm and my son is not married!
I still miss my brother Larry, who passed away in l985. If anyone remembers him, I would love to hear from you. He was the inspiration for The ImageMaker, Inc.
My parents and my husbands parents are deceased.
I'm happy to report that in all this time, we all all healthy still. May this continue!
